Artificial Intelligence in HR functions : A Smart Technology

What is Artificial Intelligence?
History of artificial intelligence
The concept of artificial intelligence dates back to ancient
Greece, but significant milestones in its evolution include Alan Turing's
publication of Computing Machinery and Intelligence in 1950, John McCarthy's
invention of the Lisp language in 1956, and the development of the Logic
Theorist in 1967. Frank Rosenblatt's Mark 1 Perceptron, based on a neural
network, became the first computer to learn through trial and error. Neural
networks using a backpropagation algorithm gained widespread use in AI
applications in the 1980s. IBM's Deep Blue and IBM Watson achieved significant
achievements, while Baidu's Minwa supercomputer and DeepMind's AlphaGo program
achieved significant victories. In 2023, large language models (LLMs) like
ChatGPT significantly improved AI performance and potential enterprise value.
These new generative AI practices enable deep-learning models to be pre-trained
on vast amounts of raw, unlabeled data.

Self-Reflection
According to my AI investigation, there are advantages as well as disadvantages. As a result, when I handle HR functions, AI is unable to sympathize with human resource management, i.e., AI is unable to recognize human sadness, happiness, and so on. As a result, we cannot fully rely on AI in HRM.

DeleteArtificial intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed human resources (HR). Here are the ways AI is changing HR processes.
ReplyDeleteThe integration of AI into HR functions is revolutionizing the way organizations manage their workforce. By leveraging AI's capabilities in recruitment, talent management, employee engagement, and data analysis, HR professionals can contribute to strategic business objectives while enhancing the overall employee experience. It is always beneficial to adopt new technology to keep up with the ever-changing digital environment.

The introduction of AI considerably improved the speed and efficiency of the work processes. Implications for introducing such a system and for employee training are discussed.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteWhile Artificial intelligence can automate many tasks traditionally done by HR professionals, it is important to note that Artificial intelligence can not replace the human touch entirely. HR professionals will still be needed to provide a personal touch, make strategic decisions, and manage complex issues that cannot be automated.

DeleteArtificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly being integrate into many industries and fields of work. It can be integrated into HRM in the ways you described so that organisations can reap the maximum benefits of it.
ReplyDeleteAgreed but we cannot fully rely on AI in HRM
